ABOUT ME

On June 1981 I graduated, with honours, in Economics and Commerce.

Between September 1981 and December 1982 I fulfilled the compulsory military service as Officer of Guardia di Finanza (Italian tax police) in Rimini.

On January 1983 I became auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co – Rome office, specializing in banking and financial auditing.

In March 1984 I became chartered accountant, and in February 1986 I passed the exam provided for art. 13, DPR n. 136/75 (managed by “CONSOB”, Italian securities and exchange commission).

Since September 1984 I have been enrolled in the Order of Chartered Accountants of Bologna, and since April 1995 in the Italian Register of Auditors (no. 16270).

From September 1985 to February 1987 I was a senior tax consultant of Fantozzi – Biscozzi Tax & Law Firm in Rome, carrying out tax and corporate due diligence activities, restructuring of corporate groups and drafting legal opinions on tax matters.

From March 1987 to September 1990, I was an associate of the tax and legal firm in Bologna correspondent of the Arthur Andersen & Co. worldwide organization;  during this period I provided tax consultancy, both for ordinary and extraordinary operations, and I collaborated in the reorganization of multinational groups of foreign companies operating in Italy or Italian ones operating abroad.

In October 1990 I enrolled in the special Register maintained by the Court of Bologna, and I began to collaborate with the same, receiving judicial appointments in the context of insolvency proceedings (bankruptcy trustee and judicial commissioner), as administrator / judicial liquidator and expert witness.

In the meantime I opened my firm, involving from the beginning professionals operating as chartered accountants and lawyers;  on September 1992, in association with other partners, I developed the organization acting in various zone of the Italian territory.

From the beginning of 2021 I have been carrying out the activity independently, maintaining only privileged affiliation relationships with qualified professional firms located in the areas of the Italian territory where I usually work.

I carry out positions in board of directors and statutory auditors.

I am author of articles on tax matters in specialized journals and speaker at seminars and professional courses in the field of tax law, national and international, corporate and bankruptcy.

I speak and write fluently in English.
